Writer and curator Aidan Page will be in conversation with King’s College London’s Dr. Rob Gallagher to present a workshop on the spatial representations of Hong Kong in the video game Sleeping Dogs, focusing on the complexities and challenges of depicting the city through the lens of non-Asian developers. Set in the local Hackney gaming pub Loading Bar, guests are invited to mingle over drinks and join discussions following the lecture. This event offers a unique intersection of gaming, urban studies, and cultural critique, exploring how digital spaces shape our understanding of place and identity.
