Connecting with local ESEA communities, our Hong Kong and Japan cross-over event consists of two short films and a cross-cultural mochi-making demonstration. Suitable for children. The screening includes a Golden Horse-winning short film about three generations of Hong Kong women, and the tender tale of a Japanese-American girl navigates her unfamiliar but embedded connections in Japan.

The screening is followed by a Hong Kong and Japan cross-cultural mochi-making demonstration, participants may have a chance to make mochi themselves.  Prices include 2 mochis and a drink.
